As our lives have become increasingly busy and fast-paced many of us feel increasingly disconnected from our true nature, our passion and our joy. We have this sneaking suspicion that there must be more to this life, but what is it and how do we get there? These tugs of intuition and whispers from our inner voice are what push us to seek answers. They are what put us on the path to personal transformation. You may be just beginning to hear the call and are tentatively taking some initial steps, or you may be further down the path and are looking to integrate your newfound perspectives into other areas of your life. Wherever you stand today, there are some important things you need to know about this business of transformation in order to help you stay the course.#1 It’s Not Always EasyTransformation can be breathtaking, awe-inspiring, and life affirming. As you wake up and reconnect you will certainly have moments of the highest highs and experiences of endless “ahas.”However, this is not ALWAYS the way of change. This business of transformation can definitely be tricky and sometimes downright messy.Did you know a caterpillar actually liquefies before it becomes a butterfly?!You may not be required to actually turn into a puddle of jelly before becoming the new you, but there may be days when it feels that way.As you become more conscious your perceptions will shift. The “reality” you once knew will radically morph into something completely different and the same thoughts, actions, and behaviors that use to work for you may no longer fit.As a result you may find yourself stepping into and out of relationships with friends and family, taking on bold new adventures and second guessing some things you are no longer comfortable with in order to find a higher ground that feels more solid and matches your newfound perspectives. Many of you have noticed and asked about one of the biggest changes that occurred in BuzZen over the last several months - a shifting role for BuzZen Co-founder, Kim Yardlay. She has stepped out of her partnership role in BuzZen and has stepped into an advisory position on the BuzZen Wisdom Council. The good news is that when you surround yourself with enlightened friends who walk the same path, the transitions can be much less painful than they might otherwise be. Kim remains an avid supporter of me and of our work to shift the consciousness of the planet and I am so grateful for all of her contributions to my life and to this company. We’ll certainly miss Kim’s daily influence around here, but wish her love and light as she continues her journey on a separate path. (And if you need a great realtor in the Troy, OH area she’s definitely your girl!)#2 It’s Never CompleteOne of the biggest complaints I hear from my new coaching clients is that they think they should be farther along in their process, or should be done with having this or that particular issue show up for them.I always tell them that just like you are never DONE maintaining your weight, or DONE learning, or DONE parenting (if you have children), or DONE keeping your house clean - personal transformation is an ONGOING PROCESS.It will never end… and that’s a good thing! If you had it all figured out, what would be the purpose in living? You are here to learn your lessons and continue to evolve. That’s why it is called a process. When your attention is so heavily focused on where you aren’t or where you want to be next you miss all the fun of the journey.Realize that there is nothing wrong with you. There is no deadline and no finish line. As long as you are still on the path, you are doing it right.Give yourself a break and enjoy the unfolding of it all. Although we may fantasize that it would be nice to do that FINAL house cleaning or step on the scales for the LAST time, surrender to the fact that you’re here for the experience and when you become aware of that the household chores, physical workouts, or nights spent studying take on a whole juicy new flavor. In my interview this coming Tuesday I will be sharing details of my own transformational journey so far. It certainly isn’t complete, but it has had some remarkable ups and downs and I’m excited to let you in on the insights and breakthroughs I’ve had so far. I hope you can join me for that!#3 It’s the Most Important Thing you Can do for Yourself and the PlanetBecoming conscious is not about changing who you are. Ultimately it’s about shedding false selves and false perceptions that confuse and hide who you authentically are. As you transform your awareness, you gather the fractured parts of yourself and realign them with who you truly are.Nityananda says, “…wholeness never actually goes away. We are born of the whole, and so even now, in our state of limited experience, we are still whole, still complete, but we are just not aware of that. When we become aware, we simply lose limitedness and become whole again.” When we “become whole again” we realize that we are not disconnected beings having isolated experiences in this life. We come to understand that all of us are connected and becoming whole again comes to mean a reconnection with All That Is.As a person reconnected with All That Is, your suffering is over. You can not feel struggle when you are rooted in oneness, and when we each take responsibility for our own transformation and enlightenment our planet will naturally be blanketed in joy and harmony. What a great thing to look forward to!Thank you for doing your part to wake up and be at the forefront of transformation. Even though it isn’t always easy and it will never be complete, it is so worth it!I promise you that the way to come out on the other side is to keep going, and what a better way to do it than with a supportive sisterhood of wise and strong women to stand beside you.I look forward to continuing this journey together to Wake Up … and Get BuzZen!
