New "Bee" to the UN Commission on the Status of Women

Join me as I blog about my journey to the UN as a new representative on March 1st. I'm giving myself a crash course right now in several areas in preparation:
1.Jean Shinoda Bolen's urgent initiative to create a 5th Women's World Conference. Fellow Buzzen member Vicki Fox and I will be working under Jean. http://www.5wwc.org.
2. My knowledge of Geography! What if I run into the representative from Lesotho and I don't know where Lesotho is? ( and I don't). Hence the need spend some time on Google Earth.
3. There are pages and pages of meetings that can be attended for NGO's ( Non Government Organizations). The focus of the meetings is Aids with a deveoping focus and women and the economic situation.
