Frequently Asked Questions » BuzZen
Q. What's with the bees?

A. Once we had decided on the name, BuzZen, it wasn't much of a stretch to determine that bees should be part of our company. We began to do some research on bees and found that they have an incredible amount of symbolism attached to them (and of course it is completely and exactly appropriate for BuzZen - Thank you, Universe!)

Here's what I mean:

Bees have long been associated with accomplishing the impossible. Until recently, scientists were unable to figure out why bees are able to fly, since aerodynamically their bodies are too large for their wings. We now know that bees overcome their physical structure and accomplish flight by moving their wings at an extremely high rate of speed. Consequently, they are a great symbol for accomplishing what appears to be "impossible."

In ancient times, the Celts associated bees with hidden wisdom (i.e., your inner voice). Egyptian royalty used the bee as a symbol of power (i.e., women stepping into their true greatness), and the Hindus depicted bees as friends of Kama, the god of love. In Greek and other ancient cultures bees were considered sacred insects that symbolized the soul, death and rebirth (i.e., your personal transformation).

We hope as the BuzZen movement grows and the symbol of the bee becomes more widely recognized and used, it will serve as a reminder of your own personal greatness, love, hidden wisdom, and the spiritual renewal that we wish to support in you.
